Ilooked at Ebay and the prices jump around alot. And the guitars are only about 2 to 3 years old and people are dumping them to make money so I don't think these would be fair prices and it undercuts the true value of the guitar. Finding a 10 year old Custom is hard and I would think it being 10 years old would increase value rather then devalue it. I have seen one going for about $3,300.00 thru Guitar Center website.

I am one of the unfortunates who have been out of work for 2 years, unemployment has run out and sadly I have to sell my one item I vowed to never get rid of under any circumstance. This is killing me to part with this guitar,I wanted one all my life, now I have to part with it.I just want to see about getting a fair price for it and not getting ripped off by someone taking advantage of my situation.

Even though I need the money,I wanted a Les Paul Custom since I was in High School which was about 36 years ago,so waiting to get one when I had the opportunity was a long work in progress. I would have kicked myself if I let this one go. I already sold my Les Paul AAA Standard and my motorcycle and I could just not part with this after days of pondering and after getting on this forum I have seen the passion everyone has about their instruments, and I share the same passion also and everyone is very supportive and made me reconsider selling my Paul. I was being offered between $1400.00 and $2000.00 and it just did not seem right for me to sell it. Also thank god we got the umemployment extended and my benefits left to be paid are between $1800.00 TO $2000.00 so it just worked out !!!!

Thanks for the input everyone. I have determined the source of my pain. It is the Intermec PM43 printer from where this code is running. I build the code, send the .exe to the printer, and it runs there. So I looked up the configuration for the system settings on the printer, and sure enough, its date was Jan 1 2000. So I am pursuing setting the current date and having the printer hopefully remember it.

The tip for me was when I removed all of the Intermec-specific code, and just ran the code on the computer in debug mode. The DateTime.Today returned the correct date, and it hit me: it depends on where the code runs. My bad, thanks everyone.

We're back in (ta && ta.queueForLoad ? ta.queueForLoad : function(f, g)document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', f);)(function()ta.trackEventOnPage('postLinkInline', 'impression', 'postLinks-27483999', '');, 'log_autolink_impression');Cabo! We bought some pesos from some friends of ours back home (same friends that came here with us 6 weeks ago). It was a large bill 2000 pesos. My husband just went down to the cambio in the lobby here at VLE to get some smaller bills for it, and they told him that it was "old" and only worth "twenty pesos" now. That now it's a "souvenier". Our friends changed their money over at VDA and the cambio by the Tresoro when we came down at the end of May. Is this possible???? This sounds ridiculous to us! Could someone please tell me if this is possible??

It looks like you've been conned. The highest bill valid today is 1,000 pesos. In the mid-90s the peso was devalued and 1,000 pesos became 1 peso etc. Your 2,000 peso bill must be from those times and is now worthless.

Could it be that your friends had some peso bills from a long ago trip that got mixed in with the pesos from your May visit? SteveMex is right. The 1000 peso bill is the highest they go these days. Sorry you got stuck with a bad bill. I hope your friends re-emburse you when you explain what you bought from them.

Wow! I don't know what to say. I don't think they came here with any pesos at all. They traded in first at Tresoro where they had gotten the best rate of 12.4 and then some at VDA so they must have gotten them from either place. I'm waiting for a call back from her to make sure of where she got them.

I have a bunch of those old peso bills and coins, too. They are worthless. Can't remember when or where I got them... they've been around the house for a very, very long time. Might have even gotten them from my parents or grandparents... who knows.

This report, part of a series that presents population and housing data collected by Census 2000, presents data on median home values in the United States, including regions, states, counties, and places with populations of 100,000 or more. It also includes home values for householders by age, race, and Hispanic origin, as well as other findings.

__________

1 The text of this report discusses data for the United States, including the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Data for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico are shown in Table 1 and Figure 5.

2 The estimates in this report are based on responses from a sample of the population. As with all surveys, estimates may vary from the actual values because of sampling variation or other factors. All statements made in this report have undergone statistical testing and are significant at the 90-percent confidence level, unless otherwise noted.

I've seen them go for anywhere from 1500 to 3000 depending on condition. I just bought a great 2000 with sub-normal wear, and a fully rebuilt top end for 2K. As I recall, trade-in value is about 1700 or so retail blue book about 22-2300.

Just bought a 00 for 2400. I've been around bikes long enough to know how it's been ridden. The stock tire was still on the front, the shifter was stock and not worn(knurles), the rear wheel did not have the "sand blasted look", stock pipe, rads straight, sub straight and so on. Basically, if you know what wears out you'll know what to look for. The bike I bought has not been ridden much so I feel it was worth the 24......good luck with the new 250, bro!

I got a 2000 kx250 in excellent shape for $1500. He had to sell fast so he sold it cheap, plus it was winter so he sold it cheaper than he normally would. All it needed was new graphics. You may be able to get it cheap. Check my garage to see what I got after putting $100 into graphics. It was a steal though.

Hopes were high in 2000 that the Sacagawea Dollar would find broad acceptance in circulation. Its predecessor, the Susan B. Anthony Dollar, had been plagued by its similarity to the quarter and a design that left much to be desired. Anthony Dollars are dated only 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1999.

For its introduction at the turn of the century, more than 1.2 billion Sacagawea Dollars were struck with the 2000 date. But Americans continued to prefer dollar bills, so these coins are seldom found in circulation. Today, nearly all of the 2000 Sacagawea Dollars are worth face value, but there are a few exceptions. If you encounter a 2000 Sacagawea Dollar, here are some things to look for:

To promote the new Sacagawea Dollars, the US Mint partnered with General Mills to place 2000-dated coins (almost all Lincoln Cents) in Cheerios boxes in January 2000. A small percentage of these boxes, 5,500 in all, contained the new Sacagawea Dollars. It was later discovered that most of these had much-more intricate details on the eagle's tailfeathers.

2000-P Prototype Reverse Sacagawea Dollar

Click images to enlarge. The rare coins with this design variation make them highly desirable to numismatists. It is ranked #14 on the list of 100 Greatest US Modern Coins (First Edition). NGC attributes these as "Prototype Reverse," and examples typically sell for thousands of dollars at auction.

Some of the Sacagawea Dollars found in Cheerios boxes lack the variations in design. If they are submitted to NGC in their original packaging, NGC attributes them as "Cheerios Promotion" or "Cheerios Promotion Regular Reverse."

Sculptor Glenna Goodacre designed the acclaimed obverse of the Sacagawea Dollar. For her work, she opted to accept her $5,000 payment in Sacagawea Dollars. The US Mint presented her with coins that had a special finish that is glossy and Prooflike but without Cameo contrast. NGC designates these coins as "Goodacre Presentation"; an example graded NGC MS 67 PL realized $381 in a June 2014 Heritage Auctions sale. Learn more in NGC Coin Explorer.

As part of a special Millennium Set offered by the US Mint, a Sacagawea Dollar was included with a $1 Federal Reserve Note and a Silver American Eagle. With only 75,000 available, the set quickly sold out once collectors realized that a special preparation had been used to strike the Sacagawea Dollars in this set, making them Prooflike. NGC has certified about 7,000 of these coins; nearly all of them earned NGC's PL (Prooflike) designation, and a small number earned NGC's DPL (Deep Prooflike) designation. A 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar graded NGC MS 68 PL and pedigreed to this set realized $228 in a Heritage Auctions sale in February 2022.

The Sacagawea Dollar is among the coins that can be found with a rare mint error known as a "mule." This happens when a die from one coin is incorrectly paired with a die from another coin. If you find any muled coin, save it and research it, because it is likely worth quite a bit of money. Sacagawea Dollars have been found muled with Washington Quarters. Two examples graded NGC Mint Error MS 67 realized $120,000 and $102,000 in Heritage Auctions sales held in January 2019 and September 2019, respectively.

If you have a 2000 Sacagawea Dollar that is not any of the varieties listed above, there is one more to consider. It involves a pair of die gouges running diagonally across the eagle's breast, giving rise to the variety nickname of Speared Eagle (also known as Wounded Eagle). A Speared Eagle graded NGC MS 62 realized $94 in a Heritage Auctions sale in June 2018. Learn more in NGC VarietyPlus.
