As some of you may have noticed, the attendance at recruitment school has not been ideal. At this point, I cannot stress how important it is that all of you make your greatest effort in participating in recruitment. As your VP Comm, it pains me to mark sisters that I know are amazing recruiters down as absent.
Getting a successful pledge class would do so much for the sorority. It opens doors to a bigger representation in the Panhellenic community, a better social calendar, and even the potential of getting an official sorority house. Some day when I come back to visit as an alum, I want to see our house on the Row, at quota. In order for that to happen, every member of the house must be pulling their weight in recruitment. I know that some girls are already very good conversationalists, but at this stage in recruitment school it is all about nailing the technicalities of every door stack, every bump, every song and motion, etc. These are little things that make a huge difference in the success of recruitment. They may seem trivial, but PNMs will notice if we are under-practiced in comparison to other sororities. The last thing we want is for them to think that we didn't put forth the effort.
As many of you have seen, the process for house tours is extremely intricate, and we need everyone there to learn it. There are only three days of recruitment school left. It's crunch time, and it is at this time that we need to band together and work our hardest.
I understand that we all have work and personal commitments, but at this time we ask that you do your best to set them aside. It would mean the world to us if you could take time off or do what you can to make time to attend recruitment school and recruitment.
