Invitation to Participate in the (KSAA-2026) Shared Task On Arabic Speech Dictation with Automatic Diacritization دعوة للمشاركة في مهمة (KSAA-2026) المشتركة للإملاء الصوتي العربي مع التشكيل التلقائي

Dear Colleagues,
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSAA) is pleased to invite you to participate in the (KSAA-2026) Shared Task on Arabic Speech Dictation with Automatic Diacritization, organized as part of (OSACT7) at (LREC 2026). This shared task aims to advance research on speech-aware Arabic diacritization by developing models that leverage speech signals to produce fully diacritized Arabic text within an applied research framework supporting Arabic NLP technologies.
The shared task consists of two main tracks:
1. Data Contribution: Collecting and submitting Arabic speech recordings through the KSAA VoiceWall platform.
2. Automatic Diacritization of Speech Dictation: Developing models that take speech audio and undiacritized text as input and generate fully diacritized Arabic text.
This task targets researchers, research teams, graduate students, and practitioners interested in artificial intelligence and Arabic natural language processing. It provides a clear evaluation framework and enables scientific benchmarking and comparison among participating systems.

We are pleased to announce the awards for the Shared Task at LREC 2026. The top-ranked teams in each task will receive cash prizes as follows:
Task 1: Data Contribution
- 1st Ranked: $350
- 2nd Ranked: $250
- 3rd Ranked: $150
Task 2: Automatic Diacritization of Speech Dictation
- 1st Ranked: $350
- 2nd Ranked: $250
- 3rd Ranked: $150
We invite you to participate in this shared task and share the invitation with interested colleagues. Contributed data will be made available for the Automatic Diacritization of Speech Dictation track. Data contributors who meet the defined quality and contribution criteria will be formally acknowledged and invited to be listed as co-authors of the paper.

يسر مجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للغة العربية دعوتكم للمشاركة في المهمة المشتركة (KSAA-2026) للإملاء الصوتي العربي مع التشكيل التلقائي، والتي تُنظَّم ضمن ورشة (OSACT7) المصاحبة لمؤتمر (LREC 2026). وتهدف هذه المهمة إلى تطوير نماذج متقدمة في التشكيل الآلي للنص العربي اعتمادًا على الصوت، ضمن إطار بحثي تطبيقي يسهم في دعم تقنيات معالجة اللغة العربية.

تستهدف هذه المهمة الباحثين، وفرق البحث، وطلبة الدراسات العليا، والمهتمين بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي ومعالجة اللغة العربية، وتوفّر إطارًا واضحًا للتقييم والمقارنة العلمية بين الأنظمة المشاركة.
