ArabicNLP 2025 is almost here - Nov 8–9 in Suzhou & online!

ArabicNLP 2025 kicks off this weekend insha'Allah! November 8-9 in Suzhou and remotely co-located with EMNLP 2025!

We have an exciting program ahead with:

Two invited talks

1. Nov 8: "Beyond Resources: Building an Arabic NLP Ecosystem Rooted in Representation, Collaboration, and Responsibility" by Prof. Houda Bouamor.
2. Nov 9: "From Benchmarks to the Real-World Impact: Arabic LLMs in Production" by Dr. Areeb Alowisheq.

Two panel discussions on Nov 9

1. "Is Classical NLP Dead?" Panelists: Hamdy Mubarak, Mo Elhaj, and Fahim Dalvi, Moderator: Nizar Habash.
2. "Ethical Promise and Peril of LLMs" Panelists: Mohamed Ghaly and Fadi Zaraket, Moderator: Muhammad Abdul-Mageed

If you are attending EMNLP 2025, don't forget to come to our Birds of a Feather (BoF) session, Thursday Novermber 7 on “Arabic Natural Language Processing (Arabic NLP)”. This is an informal gathering for those interested in Arabic NLP.

For that participating, all location and streaming details are on Underline and Whova.

If you would like to attend the conference virtually, there is still a chance to register here. If you are attending ArabicNLP only, fees will range between $100-$200 depending on your status (student, professional, ... etc).

We look forward to seeing many of you Suzhou and online!

للمشاركين: تفاصيل المكان والبث متاحة عبر منصّتَي Underline وWhova.

لا يزال بالإمكان التسجيل للحضور عن بعد. رسوم التسجيل لحضور مؤتمر ArabicNLP تتراوح رسومه بين 100–200 دولار أمريكي بحسب الفئة (طالب، أكاديمي، …إلخ).
