Inquiry about Jais Model Access.

Salam All, 

I hope this message finds you well.

I am a first-year Ph.D. student working on Arabic Natural Language Processing (NLP). I am interested in using the Jais model as an Arabic LLM for my research on my local machine. However, I haven't been able to so.

Could anyone kindly provide contact information of the Jais team or advise on how to access the model API or download it for local use?

Dear Sara,

You can access JAIS from within aiXplain, hosted in various ways:

But it is not on your machine, obviously. When you sign in the first time and give your phone number for 2FA you get some credits to start. After that if you are a student (or a seed stage entrepreneur), and the credits are about to get depleted, email us, we can give some more.
