Guidance Request on Arabic NLP and AI Roadmap

I hope you are doing well.
I am relatively new to the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly in Arabic. I completed my Master’s degree in Egypt two years ago, where my research focused on software defect prediction using deep learning. My professional experience has been primarily in software development, using Microsoft technologies to build web applications.
During my Master’s studies, I gained research experience, published a paper, and developed a solid foundation in deep learning. However, I am now eager to expand my expertise in Arabic NLP, deepen my understanding of the fundamentals, and publish research to strengthen my profile in preparation for a PhD opportunity at a reputable university.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on creating a roadmap in AI, specifically focused on Arabic NLP. Your recommendations on learning resources, research directions, or practical projects would be invaluable.
