Dear Researchers,
We are delighted to announce the DialectSentEval 2026 Shared Task, hosted by the ArabicNLP workshop and co-located with the EMNLP 2026.
This initiative follows the great success of the AraGenEval Shared Task (https://lnkd.in/dYfkP5Ee).
DialectSentEval 2026 is an extension of the AraSentEval hosted by OSACT7 co-located with LREC 2026.
This shared task focuses on Arabic dialects and includes two exciting subtasks:
🔹 Sentiment Analysis: text classification task
🔹 Sentiment Swap: text generation task
We warmly invite researchers, students, and practitioners working in Arabic NLP to participate and contribute to advancing dialectal Arabic sentiment understanding and generation.
