Dear colleagues,
Aralects was originally conceived as an Arabic language-learning platform focused on the realities of diglossia and how people actually speak across the Arab world.
Over time, however, the work naturally expanded. While we continue to care deeply about building language education technology, we increasingly found ourselves helping organizations design and deploy AI systems, particularly in Arabic and dialect-heavy contexts, where many existing tools and pipelines still struggle.
Today, Aralects operates across both areas. In addition to developing language learning technology, we partner with organizations on:

Before closing, I also want to acknowledge the difficult moment many in the region are experiencing. Most of our small team builds from Lebanon, where the turbulence is very real.
