For those who are based in Qatar

We are seeking a motivated research assistant to support the fine-tuning and evaluation of Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or Multi-modal models, for Arabic Natural Language Processing applications. The position involves working closely with me on R&D tasks including data preparation, model training, evaluation, project documentation and management, and writing articles. 

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Preparing datasets for LLM fine-tuning and evaluation.

Assist in fine-tuning pre-trained models (e.g., LLaMA).

Analyze and document model performance. 

Conduct literature reviews.

Assist in drafting technical and research reports, documentation, and management.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

Phd degree (or ongoing) in related field. 

Background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, especially in NLP.

Experience working with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.

Familiarity with HuggingFace libraries and LLM fine-tuning techniques (e.g., LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT, prompt-tuning).

Programming skills in Python.
