تحية طيبة وبعد،

 

ندعوكم لتقديم المساهمات البحثية  للمؤتمر الدولي الثاني للمناظرة والحوار، والذي سيقام في الدوحة بين ال 19-20 من مايو 2025.
حيث أن المحور الثاني في المؤتمر مرتبط باهتمامات الباحثين في هذا المجتمع: التطبيقات العملية في السياقات المجتمعية، والتكنولوجية، والتعليمية. (الحجاج والذكاء الاصطناعي - استخراج الحجج العربية عبر المعالجة الحاسوبية للغات الطبيعية).

مراجعة ونشر الأبحاث:

-        يعتمد المؤتمر الدولي للمناظرة والحوار معايير عالية لعملية المراجعة المزدوجة المجهولة لتقييم جميع المساهمات المقدمة على مرحلتين: تقييم الملخص  ثم تقييم الورقة الكاملة.

-        يجب أن يشمل الملخص: سؤالاً بحثياً واضحاً، ومنهجية بحثية واضحة، كما يتوقع من الملخص أن يوضح الارتباط بين البحث ومحاور المؤتمر، وأن يتضمن نبذة مختصرة عن الخلفية الأكاديمية للبحث، وألا يتجاوز الملخص 250 كلمة. أي ملخص لا يستوفي هذه الشروط سوف يتم استبعاده مباشرة

-        تقبل المساهمات البحثية بطولين للورقة (ورقة قصيرة: 6-8 صفحات، وورقة طويلة: 15-20 صفحة) يستثنى منها المراجع والملاحق.

-        تقبل المساهمات باللغتين العربية و الإنجليزية.

-        سيتم اختيار مجموعة من الأوراق المقبولة للنشر في إصدار خاص من مجلة Informal Logic، وهي مجلة كندية ذات تصنيف رفيع والتي تتيح إمكانية الوصول المفتوح. هذا الخيار متاح فقط للأوراق الطويلة المكتوبة بالإنجليزية.

التواريخ والمواعيد المهمة:

-        آخر موعد لاستقبال الملخصات: 15 سبتمبر 2024.

-        إعلان الملخصات المتأهلة: 1 نوفمبر 2024.

-        آخر موعد لتقديم الأوراق الكاملة: 1 يناير 2025.

-        إعلان الأوراق المقبولة مع ملاحظات المحكمين: 1 مارس 2025.

-        تسليم النسخة النهائية من الورقة للنشر: 15 أبريل 2025.

-        انعقاد المؤتمر: 19-20 مايو 2025

جميع مواعيد التسليم تتبع نمط “أي مكان في العالم” AOE

I hope you are doing well,

 

We invite submissions for long or short papers to the second International Conference on Debate & Dialogue, held in Doha-Qatar on 19-20^th of May 2025.

The second area of the conference is related to SIGARAB: Practical Applications in Societal, Technological, and Educational Contexts (Argumentation and AI - Arabic Argument Mining).

Reviewing & Publishing:

-        The ICDD adopts high standards of a double-blind review process to evaluate all submitted contributions in two phases: abstract evaluation and full-paper evaluation.

-        Abstracts should outline a clear research question and methodology, demonstrate clear relevance to the conference themes, provide a brief background on the topic, and should not exceed 250 words. Submissions that lack any of these criteria will be directly eliminated.

-        The ICDD accepts papers of two lengths (Short: 6-8 pages & Long: 15-20 pages) excluding references and appendices.

-        Contributions are accepted in both Arabic and English.

-        Some high quality papers will be selected for publication in a special issue of the Informal Logic, a prestigious Canadian Q1 open-access journal. However, this option is only available for long papers written in English.

-        The rest of accepted contributions will be published as conference proceedings on QatarDebate website.

Important Dates:

-        Abstract submission deadline: 15 September 2024

-        Notification of abstract qualification: 1 November 2024

-        Full-paper submission deadline: 1 January 2025

-        Notification of acceptance with reviewers’ comments: 1 March 2025

-        Camera-ready version submission deadline: 15 April 2025

-        Conference Days: 19-20 May 2025

All submissions should be made through the official ICDD portal on softconf, and anywhere on earth (AoE) is applied to all deadlines.
