Invitation to Participate in SSD-2026 Shared Task at IberLEF 2026 and Call for Collaboration on Arabic SSD

If you are interested, we warmly invite you to participate in the Social Support Detection Shared Task (SSD-2026), which has been accepted at IberLEF 2026 and will be held on September 22, 2026 in León, Spain. We believe this shared task will be an important venue for advancing research on computational approaches to social support in online discourse.

In addition, our group is starting a new research direction focusing on Arabic Social Support Detection (SSD) across different dialects of the Arabic language. We aim to explore linguistic, cultural, and computational aspects of social support in Arabic, and to build datasets and models that can capture dialectal variation.
