We are inviting applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions with the Arabic Language Technology Group at the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI). The role focuses on Large Language, Vision, and Speech Models (Multimodal LLMs)—advancing understanding, reasoning, grounding, alignment, and benchmarking, with a special emphasis on Arabic and multilingual contexts.
What we’re looking for
- PhD in Computer Science (NLP/AI or related areas)
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid AI/ML foundations and hands-on experience
- A research-driven mindset and appetite for cutting-edge problems
- Publication record in top venues (e.g., ACL, Interspeech, ICASSP, ICLR, NeurIPS, SIGIR, AAAI)
