Dear Members of the SIG,

I am delighted to discover that this bibliometric analysis, published in the “International Journal of Multilingualism” (SSCI), features myself and several of our colleagues, including Li Wei and Fan Gabriel Fang. The research paper examines trends in multilingualism within English Medium Instruction (EMI) and employs various indices to evaluate the productivity and impact of authors' published works. 📖📚📃📜

The study identifies Kevin W. H. Tai, Li Wei, Pramod Sah, Tae-Hee Choi, and Fan Fang as the top five prolific authors, based on their m-index scores. The m-index, a variant of the h-index that considers the h-index per year since the first publication, is particularly useful for comparing researchers with varying career lengths within a specific field.

Moreover, the analysis reveals that Kevin W. H. Tai, Li Wei, Aintzane Doiz, David Lasgabaster, Pramod Sah, and Prem Phyak rank among the top five authors in terms of both productivity and impact, as reflected by their h-index and g-index scores.

I am humbled and grateful to be recognized alongside esteemed colleagues in this scholarly publication. The reference for the research paper is as follows:

Kevin Tai
