Dear Members of the SIG,

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you an article that is authored by myself and my primary supervisor Prof. Kevin W. H. Tai.

The purpose of this article is to explore how students create a translanguaging space for displaying affiliation that promotes Foreign Language Enjoyment (FLE) during collaborative Digital Multimodal Composing (DMC). We argue that both translanguaging and transpositioning hold great potential for promoting students’ FLE. The findings also suggest DMC as an emotionally supportive pedagogy that can foster enjoyment in language classrooms.

The paper is now published open access in International Journal of Applied Linguistics.
