In this article, we reframe translingual writing not as “pajamas”—something seen as too casual for scholarly work—but as 战袍 (zhànpáo), an intentional and context-sensitive ensemble for voice, desire, and resistance. We also propose a five-level framework (linguistic, rhetorical, epistemological, methodological, and structural) to make translingual practice both principled and practicable across contexts.
We would be glad to hear your thoughts.
Best regards,
