This is a Special Interest Group (SIG) for Translanguaging and Inclusive Education, affiliated with the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education (CAISE) at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Welcome to the SIG!

The SIG aims to: 
1) Advance research and knowledge exchange on Translanguaging as an inclusive pedagogical approach that encourages teachers and students to value students’ linguistic and cultural repertoires, challenge the standard and named language ideologies and promote equitable learning, social inclusion and justice, 2) Provide a platform for emergent and experienced scholars, as well as in-service and pre-service teachers, to engage in academic exchange on Translanguaging research and pedagogies, and 3) Provide occasional seminars and practical workshop sessions for students, teachers and researchers.
