Dear Somaiya Social Cell Alumni,

You have always been a part of our inspiration to work for Enactus Somaiya Social Cell. Following your legacy this year we have started with a new project named Project Prerna. It focuses on women empowerment by providing underprivileged women with entrepreneurship opportunities.

The project is in the area of health and hygiene.It encompasses setting up a small manufacturing unit for the production of sanitary napkins using an innovative machine. This project has previously been implemented in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states but, it would be a first to be implemented in Maharashtra. This project will not only give the identified target group of women a sustainable mode of living, but will further scale to many such target groups within the state. 

What we seek from you is your help and support to start this project as every activity needs  finance. The total funds required for this project are Rs. 200,000/- but even a small contribution will be appreciated. 

As they say, "By what you get, you make a living - what you give, however, makes a life."

In our endeavor to finance this project, you could start by making a small contribution of Rs. 1000 and above. In return Somaiya Social Cell would pledge to keep you updated about our activities and convey our gratitude with a small certificate of appreciation.
