Dear all

 

This is in continuation to the presentation made by the outgoing student council the other day to a select group of faculty members.

 

On behalf of all internal stakeholders at SIESCOMS (both faculty as well as non-teaching staff) we take this opportunity to thank the student council for the wonderful contribution they have made to the growth of the institute. 

 

Few of my personal observations in this regard are as under:

 

1. It was a very cohesive group of students.

 

2. Most of them willingly took up any responsibility given to them.

 

3. They helped all of us in building a climate of positive vibe in the entire community of SIESCOMS.

 

4. They managed the activities assigned to them very effectively. This includes the voluntary work for SIES activities at Nerul campus going much beyond SIESCOMS domain.

 

5. They added 2 distinctive activities in the gamut of all activities at the institute. This includes new events under the banner of Virtualites and the highly successful intra-collegiate cultural fiesta known as "Jambore" in February, 2013 . This event was one of landmark successes of the council.

 

As they give the baton to the next council, we on behalf of entire SIESCOMS community thank them for all what they have done and also look forward to their continued involvement as some of them are going to be mentors for the next student council.

 

We also hope that the leadership and team work acumen gained by them will be useful to them as they get ready to join the corporate voyage.
