Sierra Club event in Valley Forge this summer - call for volunteers

Show our support for National Parks, park staff and organizations that support parks at all levels. The local Sierra Club Group will be providing a picnic lunch. We'll learn about the importance of Valley Forge and natural and historic parks in general and enjoy other activities: bike rides, hikes, service projects and more.

We need lots of volunteers to help make this a smooth running and informative event. If you would be interested in learning more about volunteering to help with:

• welcome table
• picnic lunch - food acquisition (SC is buying), setup, cleanup, leftover care
• hydration & first aid
• bike parking - we could have 50 bikes
• family activities
• hike coordination - we have Outings Leaders doing the leading
• service project coordination
• digital stuff - emails, social, list management
• other stuff that we haven't thought of yet
