Hail Fellow SCE Members!
We are quickly approaching the Alyssa Samansky Track Challenge:
Wednesday August 8th, 2012
Clovis West High School Track
Track events: 100 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, 1600 meter, 50 meter kids dash
Field events: Long jump, shot put, discus-tbd
Field events start at 5:30 with running events beginning at 6pm. Heats will be arranged on day of competition.
This event is held to honor Alyssa Samansky who was 7 years old when she was tragically killed. Come out and run your fastest to honor a life taken too quickly.
As always, in honor of Alyssa's love to read, our beneficiary is the Fresno County Library. In conjunction with the funds from entries, we will be holding a book drive to support the library as well. So bring out your no-longer wanted books and pass them on! We will also have the BBQ going in case you get hungry. Instead of fees, donations will be accepted.
Registration forms are available at Sierra Running Company.
Donations of $14 (Alyssa would have been 14 years old this year) are requested with race day fees increasing to $20. This covers any and all events that you wish to enter. Checks payments can be made out to: Sierra Challenge Express.

Don't forget! Alyssa Samansky Track Challenge this Wednesday. Come to run, drop off some books (for the book drive), eat some burgers, or just cheer everyone one on! The kids 50 meter dash is not to be missed!!
