Trail Cleanup Event Sept 17

As some of you know, I've been working on establishing a relationship
between our club and the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation
Trust as an official "sponsor" of the cow loop where we often run
tempos during the Saturday morning club workouts. This area is
actually part of the Jensen River Ranch. To kick off our involvement
with the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust, we are
invited to participate in Coastal Cleanup Day 2011! This is a
statewide event to clean up waterways across the state. We have the
option to clean along one of four sites along the San Joaquin
River..... details can be found at

We'll plan to clean up the River West Open Space Area where the City
is planning a new trail (possibly a new running route??) If that area
is full then we'll look into cleaning the Jensen River Ranch area (cow
loop)

Plan to attend after Coach's workout (or the Pinnacle Pup Run, being
held the same morning) Saturday September 17.... the clean up starts
at 9:00, lunch from Whole Foods will be provided free of charge!!
