Good afternoon,
I am trying to stress test a web app where it is important to also
download the images on the pages to get an indication of the load
limit.
Stick the image filenames in the url list you say?
I can't do that. In this application the images are dynamically
generated, the URLs for the images change on every page load,
parameters in the image URLs make some ImageMagik and GD voodoo
happen. The images are tied to the user session as well, so hitting
the same page twice will give different URLs for the images. The
images are only generated when requested by the users browser, not by
the initial page load, so their URLs must be hit in order for most of
the load to occur.
Is it possible to get Siege to download the images in this scenario?
Is there another testing tool that would be more appropriate for this
case?
Thanks for your help,
Tim.
