Location: Houston, TX (Preferred) /Remote

Rate:65/hr....MAX

 

 Role:

• Tableau Lead responsible for analytics/reporting delivery, requirements intake, dashboard design and development, data validation, stakeholder coordination, production support and performance tuning.
• Experience: Approximately five years of Tableau development and/or lead experience; Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server / Cloud experience expected; SQL and data preparation experience preferred.
• Lead capability: Strong communication skills and ability to operate as a lead resource with limited supervision in an enterprise analytics environment
• Strong SQL skills (Joins, CTEs, Window functions) and ETL/Data Prep tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or dbt).
• Experience managing user permissions, scheduling extracts, configuring row-level security (v), and publishing to Tableau Cloud.
• Authored complex SQL queries and views to aggregate multi-million row datasets from enterprise data warehouses, ensuring accurate data validation prior to dashboard visualization.
• Explicit experience with Tableau Cloud/Server migration or administration
• Someone who can sit down with business executives (who might not know data terminology), extract their requirements, and translate those into a clean technical design.
• With production support and performance tuning listed, they likely have existing dashboards that are lagging, broken, or unoptimized. They want an expert who can speed up slow workbooks.
