DPresident Waldmann called the meeting to order at 8:23 pm
She led members in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Treasurer's Report.

Membership Chair's Report- Joann Olbrich
Joann reported that the Club has 23 paid members at this time.
She also mentioned that although members 70 and over don't have to pay dues they still need to fill out the clubs membership form.
Joann also asked members to let her know if they pay dues using Act Blue.
President Waldmann mentioned that she will working with Joann etc to make sure we have an up to date and accurate membership list.
The list is needed to hold an endorsement vote which President Waldmann is planning for the June 15th meeting.
Minutes
Teresa made a motion to accept the minutes from the April meeting. The motion was seconded and carried.
Teresa H mentioned that she is using the membership from 2025 to send emails.
She told members to let her know if they are not receiving emails.
Guest Speaker
President Waldmann asked
Senator Jessica Scarcella Spanton running for re-election in the 24th Senate District to speak but unfortunately she was unable to attend due to budget work in Albany.
Senator Scarcella Spanton sent District leader Tom Blancero to speak on her behalf
Tom Blancero reported that the there is a fundraiser for the Senator on May 21st.
Tom spoke about Senator Scarcella Spanton's accomplishments and legislation while in office.
He urged members to donate to the Senators campaign and that she qualifies for matching funds
After Mr. Blancero's presentation he took some questions from members in attendance.
Nominations for Treasurer
Paul Scublinsky was nominated and seconded for DORC Club Treasurer.
The actual vote will take place at the June 15th meeting.
PAC (Political Action Committee)
Steve Schwall spoke to Carmen Congnetta
regarding the PAC. The PAC is going to be dissolved since we are not actively funding candidates.
The PAC money will be used for club expenses and possibly for deposits for club fundraisers
New Business
Tim Quorraj Candidate for 64th Assembly District is running on both the Democratic and Independent line.
He is a small business owner.
Tom Blancero won $105 from the 50/50
The next meeting is scheduled for June 15th
Nick Popolo announced that Alexis Rodriquez
needs people living in her district to donate to her campaign for Senate 24th District.
Ms. Rodriquez can get matching funds
