Hi

I am planning to use Siddhi for rule evaluation engine

I have below scenarios to be met

when the conditions are created by user need a way to persist them, which can be used when the node running siddhi restarts due to some reasons

I need a generic interface to represent the rules which are in layman's language not specific to siddhi. Because user should  be able to configure the conditions without knowing siddhi

Any inputs on this will be a great help

Hi,

If you want to run Siddhi as a rule engine and if you need persistence, then you have to use WSO2 Stream Processor[1]. This is a server version of Siddhi released under Apache License V2 by WSO2.
With that Siddhi rules will be get stored in files, and it also provides a Business Rules module[2] that allows business users to create, modify and delete rules with a simple UI, also it allows developers to build business rule templates such that business users can manage them[3].

Hope this will help you.
