Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it targeted the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the headquarters of the Israeli Air Force with Kheibar missiles, according to Iranian media on Monday.
According to Mehr News Agency, the strikes were carried out as part of what the IRGC described as the 10th wave of missile attacks. In a statement, the group said, “The office of the Israeli Prime Minister and the Israeli Air Force Command headquarters were targeted with Kheibar missiles.”
Israeli officials have not issued an official response to the claims.
Earlier, the IRGC released an evacuation order for Israel, saying that “Kheibar missiles” were launched toward what it described as occupied territories in Israel.
Meanwhile, Israel relocated its official government aircraft to Germany for security reasons over the weekend, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s spokesman confirmed Monday.
Stefan Kornelius, speaking at a news conference in Berlin, said no Israeli government officials were on board the aircraft when it arrived at a Berlin airport on Saturday.
“The Israeli government asked if they could park this plane here. We were happy to comply with that request,” he said, adding that only the flight crew was present.
The aircraft, known as the “Wing of Zion,” departed Israel on Saturday, triggering speculation on social media that Prime Minister Netanyahu might be traveling to Germany.
Flight-tracking data showed the plane left Israel early Saturday afternoon, circled for several hours over the Mediterranean Sea, then flew to Germany and landed in Berlin later that evening.
The specially equipped Boeing 767 serves as the official aircraft for overseas travel by both Israel’s president and prime minister and is fitted with advanced secure communications systems, according to Israeli media reports.
The developments come after the United States and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran on Saturday, killing several senior Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Tehran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and regional countries hosting US assets.
