The Wake Forest Dream League is the result of a vision of two brothers, Maurice and Nicholas Savage, who sought assistance from the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department in developing and administering this league.
DreamLeague is a league started in 2013 by DreamHack, ASUS ROG, Roccat, TheGDStudio and Swedish TV channel TV6. The long-term goal is to create the world's most prestigious Dota 2 league with focus on Europe and North America. DreamHack will work closely with the team organisations and make them partners to the league, but also keep them independent. DreamHack have in close partnership with six invited teams designed a new model, where teams are not only taking part as teams and players, but will work to promote ASUS ROG DreamLeague. On top of getting top exposure at Twitch.TV and TV6, DreamLeague will provide the teams with travel support to LAN finals, stream and broadcast statistics and also kick-back on specific revenue streams.
DreamLeague was included in Dota Pro Circuit starting with DreamLeague Season 8, thereby increasing the amount of teams to include other regions. Following the restructuring of the Dota Pro Circuit in 2021, DreamLeague focused on the Western Europe portion of the regional leagues.
The Baseballtown Charities Dream League kicked off in 2018 and allows those with physical and intellectual challenges the same chance to enjoy the game of baseball like so many able-bodied players do. Our athletes play on a custom-designed, turf field that can accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
There are no raised obstacles on the field such as bases or mounds, instead they are painted directly on the field to make everything flat and safe. The field is a little smaller than a typical little league field with the base path, pitching and outfield fence distances being a bit shorter. We have even witnessed home runs hit out of the park at the Savage 61 Dream Field!
We host a Spring and a Fall season each year. Teams play one weekday game, on either Monday or Thursday evenings, and one weekend game on Saturday mornings/afternoons. Since the league is about fun and inclusion over competitiveness, we do not host practices.
The Dream League allows the parents/guardians of the athletes to sit down and watch their athlete have fun while playing baseball. To accomplish this, we recruit volunteer groups (area high school and college athletic teams, businesses, community organizations, churches, etc.) to help guide the athletes on the field, give encouragement, and keep everyone safe!
In 2022, the Dream League will feature six 2nd and 3rd grade teams and seven 4th and 5th grade teams. Schools represented in the league around Tulsa will include Hawthorne Elementary, Legacy Charter School, Drexel Academy, Unity Learning Academy, Springdale Elementary, College Bound Academy and Wayman Tisdale Fine Arts Academy.

At 46, Regis Le Bris was appointed as a replacement for Christophe Pelissier, after 10 years in charge of the club's academy. He has brought a fresh set of ideas and the ambition to develop an attractive brand of soccer based on high intensity.
In a season with four teams going down, putting the unexperienced Le Bris in the driving seat was a risky bet. He only got his diploma in May, but with his deep knowledge of the club and players, Le Bris has quickly gelled his side together.
