I am a DIE HARD beach house fan and I feel as though OTM are falling a little short/ not hitting me in the gut as hard. They are beautiful songs but these last two albums have been kind of blasé. I like Devil's pool its reminiscent of Devotion. I really don't like New Romance or Superstar. Become is nice and I hate to even say this because I probably am going to get torn apart in the comments. I guess I just feel sad because I keep hoping it will grow on me but it doesn't. I feel like they lost their teen dream clean and raw vocals. I kind of don't like this direction they are taking but can appreciate it nonetheless. I am going to give both albums another listen this weekend.
