Evolution of dynamical state (in Mathematica)

I implemented section 1.7 ("evolution of dynamical state") in Mathematica:

Using my rudimentary Mathematica approximation to generic arithmetic
(described earlier), the translation from scmutils is pretty direct.
(However, it will only work for systems with a single degree of freedom,
because of the simple way I map derivatives over lists.)
