This looks awesome, guys! My only recommendation for the app would be something about commitment - e.g., "can you commit to attending the entirety of the event?" or something like that. Thoughts?

Or even a clause that says, "you should be able to commit to attending the entirety of the event."

And then talk about flexibility when you meet everybody and everything's more chilled out. But to start, I think you should set a high bar for people to know stuff's serious and that everyone who signs up at least at the outset wants to be there the whole time. But I defer to the council. #lordsandladiesofsynergy

I'm in favor of Li's proposal!

...or, to make it even more contractual, you could even say "By checking here, you commit to attending the entirety of the event if you are selected." It never harms to get people to make a firm commitment right from the beginning (especially since commitment has been an issue in the past).
