Good afternoon/evening team,

Below are the notes from the conference call today. As an aside, I'm emailing you all through the googlegroup, and I suggest we communicate using this group from here on;  it's easier to keep track of our conversation threads.

Attendance:
- Megan, Noor, and Stephanie

Team Charter Development:
- Unfortunately  no one else joined this call so we were not able to draft a charter to represent the management/communication styles of the majority of individuals.
- Stephanie will create a survey monkey that everyone is expected to complete by COB eastern time tomorrow. She will then collate everyone's responses and draft the charter. She will send it out a draft by tomorrow evening. Everyone will have an opportunity to suggest edits to the draft on Tuesday. We will submit the charter by Wednesday evening (eastern).
- There will be a conference call opportunity tomorrow evening to discuss responses to the survey and express any questions/concerns.

Ideas for Team Communication/Work Ethic:
- Megan reminded us that participation in the social innovation challenge is mandatory, and the hours spent and contributions to the goals we defined will be monitored. Lack of input can jeopardize qualification as a fellow
- Asymmetrical work flow may be a way we can maintain the pace of our work process; ie. not everyone has to join on all conference calls. Individuals can contribute by adding to google docs, etc.
- We will define the response time for emails in our team charter (past charters have included 24/48 hour rules for responding to team emails)
- We will define ways to achieve consensus in the case of disagreement
- We will list strategies to use time prior and during the conference to maximize output from all team members (e.g., avoiding challenge-related tasks during the mornings and evening so team members may visit speakers and attend networking events, using allotted time during the conference efficiently to complete the challenge prior to the presentation day)

I think that covers it all.

Thanks,
Noor
