ROUGH First Agenda for 5/19 8pm EST
1. Intro/check in (6 min)- Stephanie and Magen
- Greeting, Assign Note Take, do quick introductions (30 seconds: job, strengths, personal/professional goals for the fellowship), anyone have any immediate concerns? ettiqute for conference calls recap. Magen will update us on anything on her end.
2. Konrad's Case Competition Update (7 min?) - Konrad
- Recap of the Conference Call (Team: hold questions/comments until he's done)
3. DREAM BIG/VISION - Discussion about the project (20 min) - All (guidance from Magen?)
- Initial thoughts, questions about the project, team will then try to understand what the project really wants, discuss what our overall goal will be (what do judges want? what are our measurable objectives? expectations? what do we want to get out of it? what will the end product look like? how much do we want to do pre-NY and how will this impact our time in NY? what do we focus on?), define Big Picture strategy for the days leading up for NY. Initial brainstorming as much as possible.
4. THE NITTY GRITTY- Project Next Steps (20 min) - All
- Assign roles/"homework", deadlines, what should we research, what tools do we need (basecamp, survey monkey, powerpoint, excel, skype, social media)?, do we need mentors? do we need background research? are we, as a team, lacking in any of the areas of expertise needed to make the project work? Any confusion about the project (I assume we'll tell Magen and she'll follow up with Lora)? Any potential issues or worries? method of documenting/sharing information. FOCUS on the upcoming week's tasks. Remember to play of everyone's strengths but also allow room to grow. Make sure everyone has a role, to help with a sense of "ownership" and "purpose"! Yay Teamwork!
5. Questions/ReCap (5 min) - Stephanie/All
- Additional Questions? Everyone comfortable with their role/deadlines? Concerns about communication menthods? Additonal topics for discussion? Assign note taker and discussion leader(s) for next meeting on 5/26.
Total time: 58 minutes
Future meetings will be shorter, but this is the foundational discussion for the project, so please let's give it the time it needs. I erred on the side of over-estimating the amount of time needed, just in case.
We can always end early! ;)
If you'd like anything changed/removed/added, please let me know in 24 hours. I'll update w/ the feedback I'm provided, and send out the final draft on Saturday afternoon.
Thanks,
Stephanie
