Hi Team!

 

If you have agenda input or scheduling conflicts, let me know w/in 24 hours of when this email was sent. The final agenda will be sent out around 3pm EST tomorrow.  If you can't make it for all or part of the time, please look at the agenda and email your thoughts to the group at least a few hours before the conference call.

 

Also, I will be in the middle of a graduation ceremony (I'm co-presenting, long story short) so I won't have a computer near me and I'll be in my car, hiding from the noise and should be available the whole time. I'll print out the agenda ahead of time.

 

There appears to have been some glitches with the conference calling system. Can we suggest a quick coping mechanism? Perhaps emailing/texting the group and then the group will committ to be aware of any incoming messages during the call?

 

 

DRAFT Agenda:

 

4:30pm EST - 4:35: Buffer time for folks to get on the call/ team bonding.

4:35pm - Any relevant StartingBloc updates? Nick's Intro to the group? Note taker (Off the top of my head, I believe Robert, Joelle and Stephanie have taken notes. Let's keep rotating. Sorry if I missed you!).

4:40pm- Define a Problem Area to address (reference Nick's email about the Wilison paper and the pillars)

5:10pm- Consider proposed solutions and work towards getting a solution that we can be Reasonably researching given that the institute begins soon and some folks have to fly across the country!

5:30pm - Wrap Up: Next Steps, Do we want to pick a meeting place when we get to the institute? When are folks arriving? Who's excited!?! Who's got questions? Do we have everyone's phone numbers? Final advice from Magen.

I have managed to make my schedule free in the afternoon til 5:00 PM EST- I need to get into work then (..Then I have a break from work for some reason... I wonder why... Because- holy crap- the institute is 5 days away!) 

 

I'm able to chat or do any extra work from 2- 5 PM easily.
