In the past few months, at the construction site at Jean Sibelius
Square, there have been a few minor instances where the property
belonging to the construction company was tampered with. In the first
instance, the earth-moving vehicles were started and moved about the
site. In the second, more recent event, there was graffiti sprayed
across the company trailer and across the new field house.
Fortunately, the field house had not yet had the finish surface
applied. The following is the non-emergency contact number for the
Division 14 police department, in case you or anyone you know can
offer assistance in cases of vandalism at the Park :
