This note from Dan Connolly, Project Manager, affects users of the playground. Feel free to forward this message to your neighbours:
In the next week or so, we will be
closing the Kendal/ Bernard temporary access to the playground. This is
to allow the contractor to restore the south lawn area of the senior
playground. You may have noticed that the City Parks Horticulture group
has already installed temporary fencing. This is to deter people from
walking through the planting beds.
We will temporarily remove a fence panel on the north side of the
tot lot (on Bernard). This will act as the new 'temporary' playground
access point. Once the restoration is complete and the seed sufficiently
germinated (about a month) we will remove the hoarding fencing and
allow access to the south side of the senior playground.
We will be posting a sign (at the Kendal/ Bernard intersection) of
this access closure when the 'south lawn protective fencing' is
installed.
