Update on Jean Sibelius Square

Hi Everyone,

This just in from Dan at Parks:

A brief update:

1.) Most of the site-works are complete.

2.) Contractor has obtained water meter from Toronto Water and installed it.

3.) Toronto Water will seal and test water meter today! Once water meter is approved water can be turned on.

4.) Once water can be turned on, irrigation system can be turned on and tested (scheduled for Monday).

5.) Once irrigation system is up and running, sod will be installed. (Sod is scheduled to be installed next week, weather permitting....hurray!!).

6.) Plumbing and finishing work in the building is still ongoing...should be another few weeks before this is complete.

7.) Custom exterior doors are on back order and are scheduled to arrive in three weeks.

8.) Once doors arrive and installed, exterior IPE cladding will be installed (should take a couple days) and building will be complete...double hurray!!)
