Late yesterday evening I received this news from PNG (where it was mid-morning):

 

Hi Linda,
Here is some ‘Breaking News’! Josh (….) in NTK (mission plane) just landed minutes ago on Siawi airstrip, yay! They are getting airstrip maintenance funds, medicines for the VHV (Village Health Volunteer) and Nokee got his book (the concordance)!  Thought you’d like to hear.

Did you catch all answered prayer items in that 3 sentence note from the Sepik?

1. Siawi airstrip, maintained by the Siawi folks by hand, is back open and usable and continuing to receive the government funds to do so. That had been in doubt, previously.
2. They got some medical supplies-bandages, malaria meds and simple antibiotics-in from the government health care system, without having to hike it through swamps and over mountains to have it.
3. The concordance with my letter tucked in with it has been gotten to Nokee to help the Siawi church leaders investigate the claims and rumors being made about getting the powers of the Holy Spirit. They can use it to search out the scriptures on this topic, rather than depending on hearsay.

 

Now you can be praying fervently for clarity of mind, as they read and think on those passages.
