Assistant professor position in Data Science

Applications are invited for one tenure-track position in data science starting in August 2024. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field and a demonstrated potential for excellence in data science research and teaching. The successful candidate will also have a commitment to an inclusive environment and working with diverse communities. Preference will be given to applicants whose work complements the existing research strengths in the Department as well as in other departments at the University of Nebraska. Applicants should submit a cover letter, a CV, separate statements addressing research and teaching, and at least three letters of reference, at least one of which should address teaching.
