Using Tutor Trac for SI Data

Hi SI Colleagues,

My campus is recently undergoing the beginning stages of implementing SI and we already use TutorTrac for attendance and data for our other tutoring services. 

I'm hoping to hear how other campuses use Tutortrac in terms of managing their SI data since we've noticed it has SI capabilities built in. Is anyone currently using Tutor Trac with their SI program? 

I appreciate any insight or any suggestions from folks!

Lexie,

We've been doing SI and using TutorTrac for a number of years, and we us TutorTrac in connection with SI in two ways:
  • We use the batch visit function in TutorTrac to enter SI attendance.
  • We run the standard SI grade comparison report in TutorTrac (modeled after UMKC's "official" Excel sheet) to determine SI participation rates and the performance of SI participants vs. non-participants.  This same report also shows frequency of session visits.
