Academic Support Coordinator (two positions) at LSU - Baton Rouge, LA

Good afternoon SI Community,
The Louisiana State University Center for Academic Success (CAS) would like to share the following position, based here in Baton Rouge, LA. The Academic Support Coordinator will assist the Associate Director of Academic Support in the overall operation of the academic support unit which provides course support for students through the LSU CAS, a nationally certified Learning Center of Excellence. This position is charged with the administration and oversight of the Shell Tutorial Center, a drop-in tutoring service, and/or the Supplemental Instruction program, a peer-learning program that provides regularly scheduled study sessions for traditionally difficult courses. The coordinator is required to stay current with best practices in academic support operations, facilitation techniques, and program accreditation.
The CAS Academic Support unit currently consists of an Associate Director (myself), two Graduate Assistants, and the SI/STC combined staff of approx. 120 undergrad/grad students. We are looking for two (2) dynamic professionals to fill out our team. As written, the Coordinators will not be specifically tied to either SI or Tutoring. It is designed to be a flexible position that may assist with either program, based on the strengths and experiences of the applicants and the Academic Support team as a whole.
