Open Position: Supplemental Instruction Coordinator at the University of Arkansas

The Student Success Center at the University of Arkansas has an opening for a Supplemental Instruction Coordinator. In January 2022, the Student Success Center will move into a newly constructed building in the heart of campus. Home to academic support programs, advising centers, a faculty teaching and support center, a Writing Studio, the Student Success Center promises to be a hub for campus students and staff--the on-site food court and coffee shop are extra bonuses.
The Supplemental Instruction Coordinator leads a team of graduate assistants and SI leaders to maintain daily operations and management of a university-wide Supplemental Instruction (SI) program. The coordinator is primarily responsible for program development; recruitment, supervision, training, and evaluation of SI leaders; program assessment and evaluation; and managing the SI budget. Other duties include coordinating the SI program with other academic support programs in the Student Success Center, working with the Associate Director and Senior Director to assess campus needs for potential program expansion and additional collaborations, participating in marketing of Center services, and other duties as assigned.
