Hi,

I was wondering what programs other schools use to survey students at the beginning of the semester to find times for SI sessions. We were using paper copies that we handed out in class, but it is rather time consuming. We did like that it guaranteed that most students submitted their availability. I’m aware of programs like Signupgenius, SurveyMonkey and Doodle, but we would like to have a way to guarantee students sign up without having to email them. Preferably, it would be something they could do while in class.

What has worked on your campus? Thank you for your feedback.

Hi,

I am also interested in what programs or strategies others, particularly nursing schools because of confounding clinical schedules, are utilizing.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Alex

WE use a survey, about 3 or 4 copies circulating around the room with the SL leader’s potential times.  We have tried clickers, online etc, but found that students kind of tune out of the process. The paper has given us the best result after 4 years so we are sticking to it…
