Hello all,
I'm so appreciative of all the sharing on this listserve.

We expect our tutors to maintain at least a 70% productivity rate, meaning 70% of their total hours should be spent on tutoring or activities related to supporting the Academic Success Center programs. Tutors keep a weekly log of time in 15 min increments on paper, then enter their weekly totals on a Google form.
A lead tutor enters the data into an excel spreadsheet and notifies the supervisor if productivity falls below 70% for two weeks in a row. (I am happy to share the spreadsheet with our formulas by request.)

Productivity includes tutoring, preparing for appts, working at the receptionist desk, reaching out to tutees or faculty, adding details to post session reports, creating study aids, helping with special projects, pre-approved professional development articles/videos, tidying the center, working on a committee, and socializing with other tutors who also don't have appts. With so many options, tutors rarely fall below 70%.

I do have to clarify with tutors that they are not entitled to 30% of personal time. If 30% happens, then it's okay; it's usually beyond their control.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I hate to do this via the listserv but Carla, I’ve tried to email you 3 times, the most recent time just now as a reply to this email, and it keeps getting kicked back.  I wanted to send you my PPTs from annual but am having a heck of a time.

Do you have another email address I can send them to?

Thanks and again, sorry to send this via the listserv.

~Rebecca
