Dear friends,
The next logical step after General Meetings of UE students/practitioners that we so far had in person is bringing together our audiences from various city, country and region cultures to learn from each other and thanks to each other. The easiest way to make it happen is through wider use of Internet-videoconferencing.
This will demand some deeper level organizational planning and discipline, as well as some financial investment.
On the latter side, I foresee a need for:
1) Reliable high-speed internet connection
2) Better quality HD webcams
3) Large-screen TV type monitors or projection system
4) Wireless microphones for audience
When we take care of these things, we can start doing it in Italian between Italy, Romania and the Russian-speaking countries in March/April 2012 (using Paola at first as a moderator of our joint meetings), switching into English to invite a wider participation at a later point when we are ready (maybe late 2012 or even 2013) - possibly using Paola as an Italian-English-Italian simultaneous interpreter.
