Good to hear that you are doing well job wise, family wise and all. Congrats and well done to those who have managed to secure good jobs, those who finally got to the bottom of the damn dissertation and left the university, those who are getting married in August and aren’t inviting us, those who are pregnant and expect soon, those abroad and still keeping in contact….
As for me, still in Sheffield, still doing my dissertation, still at the university teaching (though have moved on to teaching postgrad especially SAP stuff!), still married, still two kids, still hopeful to be more SAPed (though haven’t been looking for a year)…
Sorry guys if I haven’t been able to be in touch as much as I expected and liked. Been really busy, as you know.
It was good to see Derrick and Kojo in London two weeks back. I’ll be there end of July again for a BW training at Brunel University. May get to see you again.

I am also feeling bit guilty about not writing anything. But I was reading everybody's messages. It is nice that most of them are in contact on this way and the honour goes to Big Boss--> Victor.
ABout me, still live in Sheffield, Latest, I got redundant from Hewlett Packard and now looking for a job again. But the best is I found some more time to finish the dissertation. I might need some help from all of you for my questionnaire. Anyway good luck to everybody with whatever they do and wish to do.

I really get excited when I hear from each one of you guys and get updates about your lives....thanks to Moshin and the Sheffield floods for starting this round of chatting
Our lives have somehow touched each others' and we have forever become entwined. It is however sad that this is all informal and there is no support from the Sheffield Hallam institution to keep things like this going. This is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of the experience they have given us and true to their nature it is not even taken seriously. Is there an Alumni site or forum? maybe I should include some of the faculty in the group so they can see how we have taken from the experience we shared to other aspects of our lives.
Thanks to Derek, Azimah, Raj, Manhar, Hassan, Moshin, Ziggy, Budhike, Siavash, Neema, Kodjo and Simon for keeping my spirits up in the last couple of days and giving me something different to look forward to daily instead of mind bending transaction reports.
An update from my side: I am currently back home in Nigeria, aside from running my software support and consulting business I have been involved with helping to build a Private Equity company started by some members of my family. We have tried our hands on a number of acquisitions and finally succeeded in buying out a company originally based in Houston called Wilbros. The company is operating in our turbulent oil and gas sector hear in Nigeria providing a variety of services. You must have heard of all the hostage taking and kidnapping..... YES ITS REAL but what can we do. They currently have an Oracle/JD Edwards ERP implementation and I am tempted to see what that looks like as well.
I am however currently working on other initiatives and hope to help them close another transaction involving a card payments processing company soon. That is more of my turf and I expect to be doing more of that full-time when it materializes.
I still have not given up on Sheffield Hallam, I still have 4 modules including RPP + Dissertation and SAP resit to do and I hope I get the time someday to get that out of the way.
Bachelorhood has really become boring and I envy Kojo and Simon but I somehow have not managed to get close to doing that yet as I keep getting my geography wrong. There is something about Canada that keeps taking the women away from me.
Ghana is quite close to me so Kojo expect me to gate crash.... Simon, where are the wedding pictures?
Lets keep this up guys, its fun.
