Ian Watson RIP.

I am sad to report that we lost Ian Watson today. He was a fine author, an excellent guest at Star Winds and a good friend to the group. We will raise a glass to him at the Brewhouse tomorrow.

Very sorry to hear this. 

Ian was a fine writer who loved playing with words, and,as we all know, a really nice guy, a jolly good sport and a friend to us and to all SF fans. 

May his dear soul be bound up in the bonds of life eternal,

I once spent an Octocon dashing from room to room to keep him apart from Harry & Joan Harrison. His wife had just died an the Committee had no idea about the feud with Brian & Harry. I will miss him
