Change RSS Title to Drop .MP3 extension

Is there a way to make it so that the RSS Title of the "article" does
not show the .mp3 file extension? I'm using an Amazon S3 bucket to
host a podcast feed. It would be nice to be able to add a metadata
attribute to the file so I can set what the title of that "article"
shows up as rather than just having it show up as the full filename.
Is this a possibility?
