Hi Raju Sir, 

Based on your inquiry, our association committee - reply is as below - 

1. There is no agreement reached with committee members, around any pet policy.

2. Supreme court says - The Supreme Court and various High Courts have upheld the rights of pet owners, emphasizing that pets are part of the family and have the right to access common areas like lifts and parks, according to legal websites. However, societies can implement reasonable pet-related bye-laws, such as requiring pets to be leashed or cleaned up after, as long as they are not discriminatory or unreasonable. 

3. We all are volunteers in this committee formation, if you start questioning like 'liability" law terms, nobody will want to be part of any association, every one will resign and our apartment has to be managed by individual owners.

We all have to co live in this apartment, hope you can understand that aspect of living in an apartment complex, we don't have a third party agency managing our apartment complex, so kindly be part of the solution, not just highlight the problem and expect somebody else to solve it for you.

4. Only rule, which we can enforce which is also part of SC order, is to have pets always on Leash, which Subrata Sir and Family - always keep it on leash, if you see the pets / dogs roaming freely - let the security know and we will remind pet owners of this rule.

We will not continue exchanging multiple emails in this regard, if you want to discuss anything, you have all our committee members phone - numbers, feel free to reach out to us on phone  / in person, we will oblige and talk to you, 

in email communication, sometimes, what we mean does not come out same way, that is the why a phone call / meeting is best to solve any open inquiries.

I would like to highlight that the bumper in front of my car was installed by the association without my consent, even though it was supposed to be fixed only after entering the gate. This has created a narrow gap, making my car more vulnerable to scratches or damage.

Yesterday, I had verbally raised my concern with the association representative regarding the bumper that has been installed in front of my parking space without my prior consent. As discussed, this bumper was supposed to be installed only after entering the gate, not in front of individual garages.

If any damage occurs due to such activities by children, the association will be held responsible for covering the repair costs, either directly or by recovering it from the concerned parent.

Requesting all parents to guide their children to avoid such actions and take care while moving around parked vehicles. This is to maintain harmony and avoid unnecessary disputes.
