BWSSB have sanctioned both Sewage and Cauvery water connection to our Apartment based on the below Terms and conditions:
1) The Penalty towards Cauvery water that has been utilized /used for the last 3 years (Till the connection was dismantled this year April/May 2015) is Rs 4,48,000 (Four Lakhs Forty Eight Thousand) which was arrived on a Pro-Rata Basis
2) The Penalty towards Drainage and Sewage that has been utilized /used for the last 3 years ) is Rs 12,36,413 (Twelve Lakhs thirty six thousand Four hundred and Thirteen )
Meeting with the Builder -21st November 2015:
Regarding the above Demand Letter received from BBMP, Builder requested us to meet him in his office today ,.hence below mentioned flat owners have met today
1) Sankar
2) Vedavyas
3) Subratha(left builder's office since had some urgent work came up prior to meeting )
4) Srikant
5) Raju
Following were the discussion points:
1) Khata process is completed and builder would receive it any time Along with Receipts
2) Total Amount which has to be paid for both Drainage /sewage and Cauvery connection is Rs 16,84,413
3) We clarified with builder stating that 1.5 Lacs per Flat have been already paid during registration which covers the following
a BESCCOM Connection,
b Cauvery connection
c Drainage and sewage Connection
d Swimming Pool charges
e Generator Back up
we further asked the builder on the reasons for the Demand amount which needs to be paid to BWSSB for that he clarified the following:
1) The 1.5 Lacs amount is not only for BWSSB ,
2) The initial deposit and processing fee already paid by the Builder and hence the connection has been sanctioned to our building.
3) As it has been almost 3 years since the deposit amount of Rs 1.5 Lacs which was paid and the same was not processed till now, considering the interest charges for 1.5 Lacs per flat he assured that he would contribute Rs 9,84,413 and the additional amount towards the meter and fixing charges which would come around Rs 50,000.
4) Action from our side now to facilitate and fulfill the demand on the balance amount of Rs 7 Lakhs divided by 48 Flat owners = Rs 14,584 per flat to be paid on or before Wednesday.25th November 2015
5) Considering the short timeline Builder has agreed for a single DD from us ie Sharvanthi Pristine in favour of CHAIRMAN BWSSB for Rs 7 Lakhs,
6) In case if we are not paying the Rs 7 Lacs as per Demand Note the Sanctioned will be obsolete and Sanitary line to our apartment will be disconnected and Builder informed us that he will not take any responsibility further and we need to align internally to resolve this issue.
Mode of transaction -Request to pay the amount of Rs 14,584 per flat to our Association Account so that we would be able to take single DD for the above amount
we would have a meeting tomorrow 22nd November at 12 .00 Noon to discuss further on the above and hence request all the flat owners to make them available and attend this meeting without fail at Basement, sorry for the short notice considering the impact and strict timelines
