Hi friends


Acknowledging the need for water conservation, we a group of
individuals and organisations have decided to launch an Advocacy
campaign with the focus on the inactive policies of govt reg water
conservation and the gap in mass awareness about the issue. With the
given background it is proposed that the WATER HYDERABAD will act as
Pressure group to ensure effective implementation of the govt policies
and at the same will also work on promoting awareness among the
communities.


To mark the launch of the campaign, On 22 March 2009, on the occassion
of World Water Day, a Water awareness walk is organised. The walk will
start at 8.30AM from Mahatma Gandhi statue, MG Road, Secunderabad and
will culminate at Swami Vivekananda Statue at Tank bund.


So far I have been enjoying the support of the good friends at Sayaam
Cheddam community for all the success in the initiatives I have
undertaken. I am always very much grateful to your immediate timely
active participation, when ever I requested for your support. With the
same hope and confidence in the commitments of the community, I
herewith request the highly motivated young change agents of Saayam
Cheddam community to take lead in the network and contribute for a
better world !!


The confirmed members so far are
AID – have been fighting, for our healthy food which we hardly get
these days
HARD – have been working on rural development
Prerna – have been working, for up bringing the needy for a better
society
Nenunnanu – the name depicts.. they are there to support every social
welfare activity
SAVE – have been working on environmental issues
Vridhi - have been working on environmental issues
